​Former SONU chairman and the current Member of parliament of Embakasi East you on Thursday Afternoon caused a moment happiness in Parliament after mentioning Raila Odinga name and ended his oath with the word Tibim. “I, Babu Owino, having been elected a Member of Parliament do swear in the name of Almighty God that I would bear true faith and allegiance to the people of the Republic of Kenya and Raila Odinga that I will obey, respect uphold, preserve , protect and defend this Constitution of the Republic of Kenya and that I would faithfully and conscientiously discharge the duties of the Member of Parliament, so help me God. Thank you. Tibim!” Said Ababu.

But Parliament Clerk instructed him to repeat the oath a fresh and told him to say what is written without him adding his own words. The swearing of The members of Parliament is ongoing,and the members are expected to elect the speaker after taking the oath.
