Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has made it clear that he has no intention of joining the Kenya Kwanza government. During a press conference held by the Azimio leadership on Thursday, July 25, Musyoka addressed rumors and speculation regarding his potential involvement in President Ruto's administration.
"I want to make it unequivocally clear that nobody has offered any position to me or to Wiper. The talk about the Attorney General position is nothing but a mirage," Musyoka stated firmly. "I may be a senior counsel, but I have been the vice president of Kenya and held ministerial positions in numerous portfolios. You don't expect me to serve Ruto as the Attorney General."

Musyoka's statement comes in the wake of recent nominations of Azimio coalition members as Cabinet Secretaries by President Ruto. Despite these appointments, Musyoka remains steadfast in his stance against aligning with the Kenya Kwanza government.
The political landscape in Kenya continues to shift, with key figures like Musyoka drawing clear lines about their political affiliations and future roles. His unwavering position highlights the ongoing complexities and dynamics within the country's political arena.
