Kware Murder Suspects to Remain in Custody as Probe Deepens.

Investigators have been granted an additional seven days to detain three suspects linked to the gruesome Kware killings. The suspects—Collins Jumaisi Khalusha, Amos Momanyi, and Moses Ogembo—are now set to remain in police custody as the investigation progresses.

The trio was presented before Principal Magistrate Irine Gichobi at the Makadara Law Courts, where detectives sought an initial 21-day detention period to allow for further inquiries. However, after hearing arguments from both sides, the court ruled to detain the prime suspect, Jumaisi, at Gigiri Police Station, while Momanyi and Ogembo will be held at Muthaiga Police Station until August 26, when the case will be mentioned again.

Jumaisi has emerged as the main suspect in the shocking murders that took place a month ago at a quarry within Nairobi’s Pipeline Estate. The investigating officer informed the court that they have so far identified six victims from body parts recovered at the site, adding that the suspects are likely to face murder charges once the files are reviewed by the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

With this extension, authorities are expected to gather crucial evidence that could lead to a breakthrough in the case, which has gripped the nation with horror. The public now awaits further developments as the investigation continues to unfold.
