Motorists Beware: Landslide cuts off part of Kabarnet-Eldama Ravine road

Motorists using the Kabarnet-Eldama Ravine Road are being urged to exercise extreme caution or consider alternative routes.

On the morning of Monday, July 29, heavy rains in the region caused a significant landslide near Kabasis, Baringo Central. The landslide has resulted in the road developing substantial cracks, posing a severe risk to travelers.

Authorities are advising those traveling from Eldama Ravine through Saos road to proceed with caution. If possible, drivers are encouraged to divert and use the Marigat highway instead.
