PSC Shortlists 6,673 for Government Internships: Interviews through the Telephone


The Public Service Commission (PSC) has shortlisted 6,673 candidates for its Cohort 7 Internship Programme, aimed at equipping young graduates with essential workplace skills. The two-day telephone interviews will be conducted from Wednesday, November 20, to Friday, November 22, 2024, starting at 8:30 AM daily.


This initiative, launched in 2019, is part of the government’s strategy to bridge the gap between academia and the workplace. Successful applicants will benefit from a 12-month, non-renewable internship across various ministries, departments, and agencies, along with a monthly stipend of Ksh 25,000.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, graduated no earlier than 2018, and possess ICT proficiency. Shortlisted applicants must present their original National ID or Passport and academic/professional certificates. during interviews. Interviews will be conducted via telephone to streamline the process.

The PSC internship programme, now in its seventh year, underscores the government’s commitment to addressing youth unemployment by providing critical hands-on experience to recent graduates.
