PSV Bus Overturns at Thika Road Roysambu, Roundabout, Causing Injuries and Traffic Mayhem

A public service vehicle (PSV) bus overturned at the Roysambu roundabout on Sunday, just before 4 p.m., after the driver swerved to avoid hitting a pedestrian. The accident occurred opposite TRM Shopping Mall.

Eyewitnesses report that several passengers sustained injuries, but no fatalities have been confirmed so far. The delay in emergency response and first aid services led to unrest among the bystanders, who became agitated and were dispersed by the arriving police.

Videos circulating on social media show the overturned bus with bystanders and good Samaritans assisting injured passengers before ambulances arrived. The precise number of injured is still being assessed, and traffic in the area has been severely impacted due to the accident.

In a separate incident, a personal car collided with a stationary truck on Thika Road in the Roasters area, resulting in fears that two individuals may have died. Authorities have yet to provide official statements on either accident.
