Public Service Commission Announces Internship Opportunities for Graduates.

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced an exciting opportunity for recent graduates through the Public Service Internship Programme (PSIP) for the financial year 2024/2025. This government initiative is part of a broader youth empowerment strategy aimed at equipping college graduates with practical skills and experience to enhance their employability, networking opportunities, and entrepreneurial skills.



According to the announcement, PSC is recruiting interns (Cohort 7) for placement in various government ministries, departments, and agencies. The internship will last for 12 months and is non-renewable. Upon successful completion, interns will receive a certificate of completion.


Eligibility Criteria:


To qualify for this internship, applicants must:


- Hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

- Have graduated no earlier than 2018.

- Be proficient in computer skills.


Duties and Responsibilities:


Interns will be required to:


- Complete tasks as assigned by their supervisors.

- Document relevant skills acquired during their deployment.

- Participate actively in mentorship activities and other responsibilities designed for the program.


Stipend


Interns will receive a stipend, the rate of which will be determined by the government.
