Son of Attorney General Justin Muturi Released After Mysterious Kidnapping in Nairobi

Leslie Muturi, the son of Attorney General Justin Muturi, has been safely released after a harrowing kidnapping ordeal on Saturday night in the upscale Lavington area.

Muturi was reportedly found and released at a police station, following what close friends described as a distressing abduction. The alarming news was shared with the public in a statement on Sunday, highlighting the swift response and concern from his inner circle.

Embakasi West MP Mark Mwenje, in a video statement, confirmed that Leslie had been abducted, with his car discovered abandoned by the roadside. The incident began shortly after Muturi left a lounge on Dennis Pritt Road. Unidentified individuals confronted him, forcibly removed him from his vehicle, and sped away in a getaway car.

The motive behind the kidnapping of the prominent businessman remains shrouded in mystery, leading to widespread speculation on social media. The incident has sparked various theories, particularly in light of the heated debates surrounding the Finance Bill 2024.

Authorities are yet to provide further details on the case, but the release of Leslie Muturi has brought a sense of relief to his family and friends. As investigations continue, the public remains on edge, keenly awaiting more information about the perpetrators and their intentions.
