Celtic secured a commanding 4-1 victory against Chelsea at Notre Dame Stadium in Indiana. Matt O'Riley opened the scoring with a cool finish and assisted Kyogo Furuhashi for a second goal before half-time. Despite Chelsea's possession and numerous shots, Celtic's new goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel kept them at bay. Luis Palma and Mikey Johnston added two more goals in quick succession in the second half. Chelsea's Christopher Nkunku scored a late consolation from the penalty spot. The win follows Celtic's recent triumph over Manchester City, while Chelsea, under new manager Enzo Maresca, continue to seek their first pre-season victory.
