England narrowest lucky escapes to secure a 2-1 win over Slovakia

England secured a dramatic 2-1 win over Slovakia in their Euro 2024 last-16 clash, thanks to a last-gasp bicycle kick by Jude Bellingham that took the match to extra time, where Harry Kane headed the winner. Slovakia, aggressive and relentless from the start, took the lead with an Ivan Schranz strike from a counter-attack in the 25th minute. Despite their efforts, England struggled to break through, with Declan Rice hitting the post from long range. It wasn't until five minutes into added time that Bellingham scored England's first shot on target, equalizing the game. In the first minute of extra time, Kane secured the win with a header.

England's victory sets up a quarter-final clash with Switzerland, who knocked out defending champions Italy with a 2-0 win on Saturday.
