EPL Sunday Matches

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace[1600EAT]

Fight for the EPL championship continues this weekend as Liverpool will be looking forward to go in front of Manchester city as they host Crystal Palace at Anfield. They

will hope to keep pressure on both Arsenal and City for the quest for the EPL title. Klop's side chances for success is boosted by the return of Diago Jota and Trent Alexander Arnold who were in the squad for the Thursday's Europa League Crash.

Liverpool predicted lineup (4-3-3): Kelleher; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Szoboszlai, Endo, Mac Allister; Salah, Nunez, Diaz.

Crystal Palace predicted lineup (5-2-3): Henderson; Munoz, Ward, Andersen, Lerma, Mitchell; Wharton, Hughes; Olise, Mateta, Eze.

Players to watch: Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has tormented Palace lately, with his goal and assist in the reverse fixture taking him to 13 goal contributions in his last ten H2Hs (G8, A5), but it was Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta who got the opener that day, a feat he’s repeated in his last three goalscoring outings.

Hot stat: Liverpool have failed to score more than a single goal by half-time in 16 of their last 17 Premier League matches.

West Ham vs Fulham[1600EAT]

West Ham has Just one defeat across their last seven Premier League matches in contention for European qualification next term, although their continued presence in this season’s UEFA Europa League is looking shaky. Thursday’s 2-0 defeat at Bayer Leverkusen has them struggling to progress, although manager David Moyes gives them “half a chance” in the return leg.

He can point to the Hammers being hard to beat at home, as aside from a humbling 6-0 defeat to Arsenal, no team has had the better of them here in the league since Everton in late October (W4, D6). With a decent record here in London derbies this season (W2, D2, L1), they also tend to fare well against Fulham, having lost none of the last 12 PL H2Hs they hosted (W8, D4)

Hot streak: In each of the last nine H2Hs, the visiting side on the day failed to score after half-time.

Arsenal Vs Aston Villa[1830EAT]

Unai Emery, Ex-Arsenal gets a chance to derail his former side’s Premier League title hopes in the game of today. Aston Villa, chasing fourth place and a return to the Champions League, are no pushovers and Arsenal, bruised by failing to beat Bayern Munich on Tuesday night, will need to be careful. Arsenal will be looking forward to go top of the table again and to keep pressure on Manchester City and Liverpool for the EPL title race.

Players to watch: Winger Gabriel Martinelli scored in both H2Hs last season, and the home faithful will be desperate for him to net again as he’s only been on the losing side once when scoring in his Arsenal career (W30, D4). John McGinn netted the winner in the reverse fixture, and arrives in good form having directly contributed to three goals in his last two appearances (G1, A2).

Hot stat: Arsenal have scored the opening goal a league-high 24 times this season.
